In consideration of the memo presented on the number of students withdrawn on account of expiration of residency period (but have some courses to graduate) and its impact thereof, the Senate of Sa’adu Zungur University at its 56th Regular Meeting held on 10th July, 2025 deliberated extensively and approved as follows;
- Approved a one-off amnesty for all students withdrawn on account of expiration of residency period from 2018/2019 to 2024/2025 Academic Sessions.
- Approved that the affected students should register and complete their outstanding courses in the 2025/2026 Academic Session, subject to fulfilment of all the requirements for registration.
- Approved that the amnesty/waiver is limited to only students withdrawn on account of expiration of residency period.
Accordingly, the affected students and faculties are by the contents of this memo requested to take appropriate action for seamless implementation of the approvals, please.
