DIRECTIVE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE NIGERIA EDUCATION REPRESITORY AND DATABANK (NERD) POLICY FOR ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS/PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBER
This is to inform graduating students that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has introduced a new policy requiring Nigeria Education Repository and Data Bank (NERD) Clearance for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Mobilization. Effective from 2025 Batch “C” only graduates with NERD clearance slips will be processed for NYSC Mobilization.
Process for obtaining the clearance
Graduating students are required to visit NERD portal at https://ned.gov.ng/onboarding or website https://ned.gov.ng and click preliminary upload for thesis/project in order to complete the process, you are expected to get the following information ready.
- Functional email Address
- Soft copy of thesis/project
- Certificate/Statement of result
- Passport Photograph
- NIN Number/Slip
When you are requested for attestation letter, upload a copy of your certificate or statement of result. Thereafter, your details will be verified before the uploading link for thesis/projects will be sent to you.
NERD clearance slip can be obtained at the Academic Office, 2nd Floor Senate Building, Gadau.
